Uncertainty over U.S. immigration policy since President Donald Trump's election has likely had a negative effect on hiring immigrants in the technology industry, according to a new report from staffing firm Hired.

U.S. companies are less interested in hiring foreign workers than they were in 2016, while American interest in working overseas has slightly decreased, according to Hired data on nearly 175,000 interview requests and job offers facilitated through the global platform.
