A MYSTERIOUS ancient slab has been uncovered etched with bizarre symbols that have left scientists completely baffled.

STELA OF MONTORO: The mystery slab is covered in symbols that NO ONE can read

The Stela of Montoro stone relic – believed to be from between the 200AD and 900AD – was discovered by a farmer ploughing his field in Spain.

Experts examining the block have been left baffled by the object which is covered in bizarre carvings.
