The big, some would call them huge, salmon continue to be reeled in at a good clip out on Lake Michigan.

Reports from charter boat captains and tournament officials point to a relatively high number of 20-pound-plus kings being caught.

Another 30-pounder also was landed on board a charter boat based on Leland last week. A 32.3-pound king reportedly was caught a few weeks ago on Lake Michigan on a boat fishing out of Ludington.

Whether they're out on a charter or entered in a Lake Michigan fishing tournament, several anglers are reporting five-fish totals of 90 pounds or more.

And that's not the only good fishing in Michigan right now.

According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources weekly fishing report, bass fishing has been hot on the state's inland lakes, while boat and shore anglers continue to have quality panfish action on lakes and some rivers.

If you get out fishing this week, send your photos to egaertne@mlive.com to have them included in an upcoming fishing report. Check out those included in the gallery in this post.
