I want to get back to the article linked in the OP that triggered my initial reply that got us to this point of arguing over Nazis and whether or not Driftdriver's lie that I said Trump is slapping you all with his penis, has any truth to it.

So, on that fateful November 8th, Americans didn’t necessarily vote for a president, as much as they voted for the man who rescued them from captivity. The media, the polls, or whatever metric these political “savants” use will never understand the loyalty Trump supporters have to their rescuer.

Does no one find the idea of assigning Trump "Moses" status troublesome?  Were all of you truly helpless slaves before Trump came along to rescue you?

Are you "rescued" now?  Have the burdens of Pharaoh's lashes of Socialism been relieved from you?  Have the Trump plagues decimated Washington By The Nile?

Trump supporters just don’t give a damn, and why the hell should they....Trump supporters don’t give a damn about a meeting, a tweet, or whatever the hell else it is you have convinced yourselves should matter to the rest of us.

To the crux of the issue he cites, flies right into the heart of whether character or principles matter.  And according to Friedman, NO - no they do not. 

I'm genuinely curious about a people who insist principles do not matter and take a person without noble or honest character at face value.  Then, it is miraculous to watch them make amazing conflated excuses why it is that their Deliverer cannot part the Sea of Socialism and make good on his promises of Deliverance when Pharoah's  Democrat Chariots have them pinned at the beach.

They see you fighting for a floundering belief system, fighting to remain relevant, fighting to continue to keep the shackles on all those you tormented — that must really frighten you. Well, I’ve got some bad news for you: it is no longer working. Millions of Americans are now free, or freedom is in their sights, and they chose the man who helped them escape. So they snicker and insist that we who refuse to march, are a hopeless minority and they are glad of it.
