"Either gubmint money...or someone elses. Of course that is redundant, isn't it, lol."
You might be surprised how many people don't know that gubmint money comes from working people. They actually believe the gubmint just prints however much money it needs.
Then there are those who, if you ask them if its'fair that someone else is paying for their free stuff, they just shrug. Really don't care as long as they are not the ones paying.
We live in a world of selfishness. And most of that selfishness was encouraged by our last president.
Moreover, many people (mostly Dems) truly believe that the rich do not pay any taxes. I had a close friend who insisted the rich paid no taxes. When I told him how much the top one percent pays (40%) of the federal income tax load and the top ten percent (60%), he simply refused to believe me.
Because they want to believe the lies told to them by their Dem masters. They want to believe they're victims.
And since, according to what they believe, if the wealthy pay no taxes, they are perfectly correct in extracting money (by force if necessary) from the wealthy.
The millennial generation might be the smartest as far as knowing about and using high tech gizmos, but they're probably the most ignorant about how the American economic system works.
It would be interesting to mention Venezuela to these ignoramuses and see how many know what you're talking about.
