Accidental poisoning by soap products is a risk with a broad range of different products, from laundry detergent to hand soap.

Accidental poisoning by soap products occurs when a person comes in contact with soap products that contain strong chemicals. Contact often takes place through the eyes or mouth.

Products that can cause soap poisoning range from simple soaps to products containing a chemical called amine oxide. If these products are inhaled or swallowed, they can be highly toxic and even fatal.

If you're thinking of trying this facial soap, don't do it.

I bought some last week and tried it in the shower.  I got a little in my eye, and it felt like acid....it burned terribly.  It was hours before it went away completely.

I googled afterward, and found all kinds of consumer complaints, along with photos of women who used it with their eyes swollen shut and their faces red and burned.
