'Fox & Friends' to address criticism of Comey coverage that led to Trump tweet
By Joe Concha - 07/10/17 06:02 PM EDT Fox News's "Fox & Friends" morning show will address its coverage of a report by The Hill on the air on Tuesday, Fox News confirmed to The Hill.
"Fox & Friends" has been accused of misinterpreting some aspects of the report.
The address by the morning program comes after President Trump retweeted a "Fox & Friends" report early Monday that former FBI Director James Comey “leaked CLASSIFIED INFORMATION” per the president's tweet.
Comey admitted in testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee in June that he shared information via written memos about his meetings with the president through a friend at Columbia University to The New York Times.
