Convenience store owner sentenced to prison for killing man robbing his store

A 31-year-old Washington state convenience store owner has been sentenced to eight years in prison for killing a man who was robbing his store.

The incident occurred on March 25, 2016 when Pacific Quick Shop owner Min Sik Kim went outside to ask a group of men to stop loitering.

If the LEOs are to be believed, the surveillance video shows the kid trying leave the store when shot. A big no no when considering employing deadly force.

It's too bad the judge didn't seem to take the clerks mental state into consideration (regardless of what he claimed), his wife having been shot 6 weeks earlier; and the fact that the punk he shot had once attempted to kidnap a 6 year old girl. A real bad seed.

Hopefully he'll be released early.
