Deported MS-13 Gangsters Keep Sneaking Back Across U.S. Border

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. immigration officers keep apprehending and deporting members of the brutal Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang, but they keep sneaking back across the southwest border into the United States, a high-ranking Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official told lawmakers.

“In many cases, we know who these individuals are. We have biometric identifiers. They’ve been arrested by the Border Patrol [USBP] or been arrested by ICE previously and removed and then re-entered the country unlawfully,” testified Matthew Albence, the executive associate director for Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) at ICE, under oath.

This is the perfect example of why we need a "physical barrier" the complete length of the border (or as much of that length as is practically possible).

A border wall of sufficient height and thickness, properly patrolled on our side with electronic monitoring in addition, should significantly reduce repeated intrusions like this.

Walls, like Ronald Reagan's comment about facts, are stubborn things.
They just work, doing their job passively ... and massively.

The Berlin Wall "worked" during its years of existence. I was there, to see for myself and actually cross through it.

Let's get to work on our southern border barrier!

Nope... While I agree heartily with the sentiment, this is not a good example.

Gangstas have money... He'll just hop a jet and sneak in from Canada, or a boat and get in along thousands of miles of shoreline. The wall would stop the peons, not the players.
