No deaths were reported after a roadside bomb struck a U.S. convoy in Afghanistan

A U.S. convoy was struck by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on Monday, and a firefight followed the incident.
No American deaths were reported from the incident, though Afghan officials say there were civilian casualties, The Hill reported.
“The convoy returned fire in self-defense, and there were no U.S. casualties,” a statement from U.S. Forces Afghanistan said.
