One of the London Bridge suspected attackers appeared in a jihadi documentary on Channel 4 and had previously “tried to go to Syria”, it has emerged.

He appeared in a television documentary last year about British extremists called The Jihadis Next Door, and was filmed at events attended by two notorious Islamic preachers.

The suspected terrorist had previously worked for London transport operator Transport for London (TfL) and a branch of fast food chain KFC, neighbours said.

A relative also told how he had previously tried to go to Syria to fight jihad but had been talked out of it by his family as his wife was pregnant at the time.

So what is the benefit of having people on lists, if they remain free to kill citizens?  The same goes for the UK, and for the US.

Seriously, why spend the money for manpower, technology, if nothing is done with it.

Alternatively, the United States Marine Corps could man an internment camp, at Twenty-nine Palms.

The Brits could resume sending their bad boys, to Australia's outback.
