NEW BERN, NC (WITN) – A woman who is accused of tossing kittens out of her moving car says she is innocent.

Cecilia Martinez-Ramirez, 42, of New Bern, was charged Thursday afternoon with felony cruelty to animals.

This morning, as the judge was reading her the charge, she proclaimed her innocence.

I would say something but I would be banned or my mom would wash my mouth out with soap.

People like her- aren't people.
I hope there is a very hungry tiger in her future.
