Days after attending his first G7 summit, President Trump tweeted out Tuesday that Germany, a central country in the European Union and a steadfast U.S. ally, "will change" in regards to its trade deficit and NATO.
Trump's tweet came after German Chancellor Angela Merkel said this weekend that Germany and the EU can no longer "completely" rely on the United States for support.
