A UAE Foreign Ministry source confirmed on Wednesday that all Qatari media websites have been banned.

The step taken by the UAE was preceded by the step of Saudi authorities that had banned the websites of al-Jazeera, Qatar News Agency, al-Watan, al-Raya, al-Arab, ash-sharq and al-Jazeera Media Group, al-Jazeera documentary and al-Jazeera in English.

Qatar are bad guys, UAE has some merits.

The famous Al Jazeera comes out of Qatar, so there is a bit of a crackdown on Qatar by another Gulf country, United Arab Emirates.

Yep!  The Qatari rulers are Wahhabis!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Did you read what I said?

I did not say that there were not Wahhabis in the Royal family!  What I DID say is that Saudi LEADERS are not Wahhabis!

Yes, these are muslims, and they take the long view. Trump will be gone in 4-8 years.

They gave him some attention, let him rant, and he left. These actions are likely to demonstrate that they did something.

Actions later, will be the truth. They don't want proof of direct support for terrorists.

...Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, {now the King} the governor of the Saudi capital Riyadh, told reporters on Monday that the Islamic structure of the Gulf kingdom, as laid out more than 250 years ago by the Sunni scholar Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab, reflected "pure Islam"....

..."Qassim pointed to the tolerant views of the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al Ashaikh, who is a descendant of Abdul Wahab, and to those of the minister of justice, Mohammed al Issa, who is against segregation between sexes in public and in universities."Those two belong to the Wahabi school of thought and they are not extreme in their views," he said....

You basically have Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran all vying to be the big dog in the Muslim world,  and they will try to cajole the US to try to use them against the others.  Right now, the Saudis have the inside track.  But once there is a clear winner amongst the three, they will turn against us.
