@catfish1957

His Maserati does 185.

Life's been good to him, so far.
The difference, of course, is that he locks the doors in case he's attacked.

I take it you've never been to the Dew Drop on a Friday night...

Hah!  No way.  And my son had this girlfriend who used to sing in those joints and he had the misguided notion that he should hang around to 'protect' her.

But all the fisticuffs he observed ended with one blow.  So his motto was, if you think there's a barfight coming, hit first.

Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.

Yeah, I was wondering ... so does a simple majority win or will there be a run off?  If you know.

My son had the privilege of observing Texas style honkytonk behavior up close and personal back in the day.  He learned one thing.  Bar fights are nothing like in the movies.  One blow usually ends them.

Maybe in Texas, but here in PA back in the day we had a couple brothers that would get in bar fights with the townies that usually ended up with a few people in the hospital. When you are full of Heaven Hill and dope, sometimes you do not realize your body is being broken up during at least 4 or 5 minutes of throwing punches. Dumb asses used to really bust themselves up.

It's been quite a while, so maybe I should question him again about the experience.  It might have changed in time.  He just left to go back to Colorado where you can mellow out on weed if you choose, but he really fell in love with Kihei.  He would move here but he says he can't afford to live here.

Mike Tyson?  You're giving the guy too much credit.  But he did break the reporter's glasses.

Kudos to you for catching my nonsense there. I figured most people would gloss over that.

Just a fling.  When he was 'engaged' to that beauty queen, I prayed every day that he wouldn't marry her.  OMG.

AP just called the election for write in candidate Whiskers, a Bobcat from Beaverhead County. She won by 53% of the vote which comes out to about 12 votes.

That British reporter might not want to mess with Whiskers.

How dare you molest the name of one of the worst Heavyweight boxers in history. Tyson destroyed him sometime in the 80's.
