New axis of EVIL? Kim Jong-un and Bashar al-Assad exchange emotional letters
KIM JONG-UN and Bashar al-Assad could be developing a new axis of evil after the hermit state revealed the leaders of North Korea and Syria have been sending each other “kind” letters.

North Korea’s state media reported the pair have been exchanging correspondence - a development sure to set alarm bells ringing from Washington to Seoul.

A news article in a recent Pyongyang-based newspaper claimed Assad, who is believed to have orchestrated chemical attacks against children during Syria’s civil war, “highly appreciated” Kim Jong-un.

And another article said Kim had been given “a gift” from a visiting Syrian dignitary.

The relationship appears to have blossomed in recent days due to a congratulatory message sent from Kim to Assad.
