Is it wrong to run Nekked thu the streets with a Direct TV Sat Dish strapped to your....

Hey, I just cancelled my Direct TV account and was wondering if anyone has gone to Sling w/RoKu?  I decided against Amazon Prime.  I'm currently steaming Netflix and have an Over-Air diggie antenna for the locals.

Feedback from those who have cut the cord.  Any and all.

You might be amazed at how much good programming can be found, on YouTube.

My household is now entirely cable free. Good antenna reception (big metro area, mounted on top of house).

Netflix, Amazon Prime and SlingTV. But I got Sling before we found how much we could get OTA.

I only watch SlingTV for NBCSN coverage of Formula 1. Could delete Sling.

Other smilax bundles are coming. DirectTVNow, GoogleTV, are examples. They range in cost from about $15 to 50 plus/minus.

I'm in BFE so Sling is nice because they will steam Fox, NBC and ABC.   No Cbs.

Personally I've always preferred my NBC fried or roasted.  Never tried steaming it.

I just saw Youtube tv has a DVR?   Is it a cloud or an actual unit/set top box?

Never mind I just saw YouTube TV is currently available in five major U.S. markets (Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco)

I have full package cable but haven't payed for years. When the neighbors house was for sale I broke in and ran a cable from their house to mine under ground.

I use mythtv to record video.  It's the software portion of a DVR (plus movies, music, news/weather, etc) running on a Linux based PC.  I've never used it for things like youtube (my TV has youtube support, and I've never found anything I really wanted to download and save), but it looks like there is a plugin which handles youtube and a lot more:

I have 3 Rokus. Netflix and Amazon Prime. I watch mostly Youtube. You can pair the Roku Youtube channel to your computer so you can do searches on Youtube and play it on your tv. Saves time. I am dead slow at typing searches on a remote. I have one Roku that has a headphone jack so I can listen to the tv without bothering anyone. All wireless. Three tvs, two computers, and a couple of tablets. With OTA tv I can listen to Pandora on the Roku (headphones), watch a  game OTA, and chat with you all at the same time. Right now I am listening to Pandora coming through the Roku and typing...singing....when there's lightning...you know it always brings me down...

Hulu is your friend. I've watched Hulu almost out. It plays on my TV.
Currently I'm watching DS9. I got through the first season. I cant understand how all these guys want to get with the Trill?
Not me. The woman was a guy. too weird for me. No Trill for me. No thank you.

I had a neighbor when I lived in town who kept an eye on my place when I was out on a well. One well, while I was out of town, he 'borrowed' water by running the hose over from my outside spigot to his kitchen. He even (considerately) put a nozzle on the end that shut off the water flow when he wasn't using it.

Unfortunately the old (thankfully only 1/2 inch) hose cracked, and when I returned, the ground between the two houses, normally very well drained, was saturated to the point of liquefaction. I checked my basement, and that's when I learned about DAP Hydraulic cement https://www.amazon.com/14090-Quick-Hydraulic-Cement-10-Pound/dp/B0006MXS3S...That stuff worked really well, plugging cracks which had never even seeped but were now flowing freely, even against the flowing water.
