WASHINGTON — Rep. Jason Chaffetz said Tuesday there is "no data to support the notion that (former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn) complied with the law” related to payments he had received from Russian linked entities.

The Utah Republican, who is chair of the House Oversight Committee, was speaking to reporters alongside Ranking Member Rep. Elijah Cummings,  D-Md., following a committee meeting where they viewed classified documents related to Flynn. The retired general was Trump's national security adviser until he resigned in February over controversy about conversations he had with the Russian ambassador after the election.
