Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested 95 illegal immigrants with criminal records in Southeast Texas as part of a four-day operation that ended April 21, the agency said Monday.

Fifty-seven were in Harris County, which includes all of Houston. Montgomery County, just north of Houston, had the second-highest number of arrests with 13. The other illegal immigrants were taken into custody from Brazoria, Ft. Bend, Galveston, Liberty, Matagorda and Wharton counties. Eight women and 87 men were among those picked up.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
