Defense Secretary Mattis: ‘2017's Going to Be Another Tough Year’ in Afghanistan
(CNSNews.com) - Defense Secretary James Mattis, visiting Afghanistan on Monday, said the fight against terrorism will continue there and around the world, but he would not say if he will recommend sending additional U.S. and coalition troops to the fight.
"I'd say that we are under no illusions about the challenges associated with this mission,” Mattis told a news conference.
