If someone is coming into a neighborhood and stealing cars and robbing houses and everyone just lets it happen because they don't want any retaliation or to make waves, then those people deserve to be beat down by criminals. Same thing with what was going on at FOX (if the allegations are true). People kept letting these illegal activities continue. Some were bribed to keep their mouths shut which is also unconscionable. No one stood up for themselves or others. You reap what you sow.

My point is that someone, or several, did not remain silent else there would have been no payments.  I think there is enough blame here for all involved. 

If Ailes and O'Reilly are innocent they should not have tried to appease their accusers.  And if the women truly suffered abuse they should not have been so willing to take the money and run.
