CNN Anchor: ‘Many Think That If There Was No Bill O’Reilly, There Would Be No President Donald Trump’

(CNSNews.com) – The ouster of Fox New’s biggest star after 20 years came suddenly, amid accusations of sexual harassment, some of those claims very old and legally settled; a few of them new.

Bill O’Reilly, in a statement issued Wednesday, said: “It is tremendously disheartening we part ways due to unfounded claims. That is the reality many of us in the public eye must live with today.”

He's correct so the headline should read: "Many (democrats) think, etc.  That being so, I guess the democrats have forgotten it was the Russians who made Trump's victory.  Or was it white male racists?  The "vast right wing conspiracy?"  How about mysogonists?  Gosh, there have been so many left wing excuses it's hard to keep up with them. :tongue2:

O’Reilly was hardly the biggest cheerleader. The whole network abandoned objectivity in an effort to elect their boyfriend but nobody debased themselves better than Sean Hannity.

Me too. That was my first thought too. The Left will blame anyone and anything, except themselves, for losing the election. They simply cannot accept that they were rejected by most of America. The very idea of rejection is incompatible with the Left's view of themselves as superior and popular. Since it is impossible that anyone would reject their enlightened philosophy, there must be skulduggery afoot.

Many think the Democratic Party takes their marching orders from the liberal press.

IMHO, Any clear thinking Conservative knows that had the GOP not throw out the baby with the bath water, IN ANGER, there would be no President Trump.
That anger is still prevalent in their ability to make excuses about their decision being the 'right' one.
BUT hey, he's all we got now and all we can do is hope and pray he doesn't go full tilt left, as I still believe is his inclination.
Failure is not an option here, His success is much more important than my Desire to say 'I told you So'.

I'm pretty sure O'Reilly is going to replace Sean Spicer.
America needs God's forgiveness....... Even if Donald Trump doesn't think he does.

Another Fox would be more appropriate, Hell I'd start watching them.

They still consider it a failure to execute, not a failure of ideas.

They always have. In the mind of the American Left, they are infallible and their ideas are enlightened perfection. There is no possible way any rational person could disagree with them. In their minds, disagreement is irrational blasphemy. This is why all through the Obama term, they kept saying, "We failed to get our message out.", over and over and over. In their minds they were never wrong, people were simply incapable of understanding how awesome and great the Left is. So yes, their ideas and platform are always infallible. It is their ability to communicate and execute these ideas that is always the problem.

This ingrained arrogance and hubris of the American Left is hurting them more than they will ever recognize. Since the Left is so rigid in their dogma and ideology, they lack the ability to adapt and change. This inability to cope with a changing society, should keep them on a downward spiral for the foreseeable future.

What do you expect from people who think socialism only fails because the wrong people did it... No matter how many times its tried... No matter how many people are driven into poverty...

Contrary to what they seem to believe at CNN, not all conservatives (or Republicans) watch Fox News, let alone let themselves be led around by the nose by BO'R or Hannity. In the past two years I probably haven't watched for more than 30 minutes,  other than election night to see results.

I hope these liberals keep believing that it is only the messenger of their message and ours that has created their losses.

If they stay on their current track, maybe we can gain another 1,000 seats from them at the federal and state elected offices.

So CNN is admitting their own irrelevance? Cool beans.
“The way I see it, every time a man gets up in the morning he starts his life over. Sure, the bills are there to pay, and the job is there to do, but you don't have to stay in a pattern. You can always start over, saddle a fresh horse and take another trail.” ― Louis L'Amour

Same here.   And that is a change from when I used to tune in daily for the news.
