19 April 2017 -- The U.S. Navy continues to push the state of the art, scaling individual swarming drones down to a palm-size craft called the Close-in Covert Autonomous Disposable Aircraft, or CICADA. The mini-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) under development at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), weighs in at just under 2.3 ounces.
