Sanctuary city advocates are advising local officials across the country to ignore evidence in government databases linking illegal immigrants to vicious criminal gangs or terrorist groups, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned.

The advice is included in a 72-page step-by-step manual on thwarting federal immigration laws and regulations. The manual was published in March by the New York-based Center for Popular Democracy (CPD), a left-wing tax-exempt political advocacy group.

There is one very simple and easily accomplished way to destroy all the tactics in that manual. Arrest every mayor, every councilman, and every police chief that tries to give sanctuary to wetback criminals. Try them in no sanctuary cities on easily provable charges of felony violation of federal law.

But we need to go even "higher" than that.

Perhaps a governor or two.

Isn't there some sort of "statewide sanctuary" bill going through the California legislature?

If Jerry Brown signs it, he should become "target numero uno".
