In 2014, an attention-seeking 14-year-old teenybopper in the U.K. who was reportedly competing with a friend to see “who could have the biggest story” accused her former geography teacher, Kato Harris, of raping her.
Two years later and after spending £195,000 ($244,296.00) on legal fees, Harris was finally acquitted, though by then the damage had already been done. His unnamed accuser’s big, fat lie had ruined his life, leaving him a tattered shell of his former self.
