Every week, the National Parks Service cleans the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C. Often, they get a little additional help from local veterans’ groups to help keep the wall looking pristine.

This year, volunteers who helped scrub the wall had some extra help. Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and veterans group Rolling Thunder, a non-profit organization “united in the cause to bring full accountability” for prisoners of war and those missing in action from all wars, pitched in to help with the ceremonial cleaning of the memorial, according to Independent Journal Review.
