Carbon Dioxide Could Reach Levels Unseen in 50 Million Years
By Brian Kahn, Climate Central | April 4, 2017 02:29pm ET

No, the headline is not a typo. Current carbon dioxide levels are unprecedented in human history and are on track to climb to even more ominous heights in just a few decades.

If carbon emissions continue on their current trajectory, new findings show that by mid-century, the atmosphere could reach a state unseen in 50 million years. Back then, temperatures were up to 18 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius) warmer, ice was almost nowhere to be seen and oceans were dramatically higher than they are now.

So is raging and frothing Democrat hyperbole.
My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

Should I kill myself now or do we have a month or two left to extinction?

An asteroid COULD hit earth and destroy all life.

This is fun.
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

If you were to walk outside as opposed to say... 1997, 20 years ago, would you be able to tell anything was different, climate wise?

How about 30, or 40 years ago? If the climate is changing it's very mild.

LA had a City Bus Strike decades ago.

All this UN and eco-wacko nonsense that loaded our cars and raided our wallets with smog checks and expensive catalytic convertors?

Well, when the City Busses weren't running, LA's notoriously brown skies turned blue again.

When the strike was over, they went right back to being brown, again.

So what man made global warming caused the CO2 levels to be so high 50 million years ago?

CO2 levels were highest back when the whole world was a rain forest and there was more life per square meter than we have anywhere.

I read an article which said that our society producing high levels of CO2 was actually accelerating plant growth.

The world and ecosystem has checks and balances built into already. Or the world would have tipped into complete extinction long ago.

i sure hope this happens, as I have been doing my best to increase CO2 levels to create more plant growth, lengthen the growing seasons for the Midwest and make Siberia breadbasket of the world.
