Monday the far left site AlterNet published an interview with academic and author Noam Chomsky in which Chomsky warned that President Trump might stage a terror attack on the United States to rally support for his administration. Here’s Chomsky from AlterNet:

    I think that sooner or later the white working-class constituency will recognize, and in fact, much of the rural population will come to recognize, that the promises are built on sand. There is nothing there.

I don't see Trump staging one (that lakes many co conspirators who can't be counted on to remain silent)

I have no doubt that Trump wouldn't clamber to the top of a pile of bodies to plant a flag.

Projection by Chomsky.  For many decades leftists like Chomsky have been attempting to foment disorder to the point of getting people killed for the cause.  Leftists would like nothing better than for the police to shoot a bunch of rioters from the leftist list of pet groups the better to get a full-blown race war going. 
Remember the Days Of Rage from 1969? That's when the SDS thought violent attacks on the police and starting riots would ignite some sort of rebellion of the "oppressed" and bring down the government.  The whole thing fizzled out as most Americans were still fairly patriotic and law-abiding.
But the leftist dream of a mass slaughter to facilitate the revolution lives on.

It is much more likely that the radical left will stage something to take down Trump and help the Democrats.  Trump and his team are being examined and observed and reported on 24/7.  Meanwhile, nobody knows for sure exactly what the anarchists are up to behind the scenes.  We only know what they are capable of and what they are moist-dreaming about.  Chomsky's an idiot, IOW.

I really doubt it. Trump is not a deep thinker and anything more complicated than a sound-bite would be hard for him to comprehend.

If someone (Bannon?) suggested it, he might give a thumbs up without understanding what it was. lol.

Oh man, I forgot about the Wal Mart closing one. I knew some people who were obsessed over it. Most of them finished up the remodel and opened within a few months. I may need to go back to the archive posts and give them a poke and a laugh.
