Maybe, but Otis Redding he ain't. ;)

Did you see his face while he was singing? At times it absolutely lit up with joy. I don't remember seeing Otis that happy about anything.

If you don't remember seeing Otis Redding happy about anything, you may not have been there. Especially not at his
Monterey set. The guy throve on live performances.

I never saw him live,unless you count early 60's tv as being live. About the only one I remember showing any sign on life on tv back there were Jerrv Lee and Little Richard.

Nah, I've done this one with my band before, only we do a kind of stretched intro based on the first two chords
so our keyboard player can do what we call his "raindrops" improv . . . and then we drop the hammer . . .
