Everyone is looking for racism in everything these days and yet ignoring it where it plainly asserts itself. Racism is defined by Webster's dictionary as "prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior." With that in mind, let's look at Teen Vogue freelancer Lara Witt's Twitter feed (which she has recently made private, failing to realize that screengrabs are forever).

This is what we evil White folks call 'classic projection'. But, I'm sure that Lara (Laura) and her "home boys" are way too STUPID to understand what I am talking about. So my efforts to enlighten her with a small glimmer of intelligence, are certainly all in vain.

I'm tempted to smirk at the fact many supposed black allies of white liberals hate them, the white liberals, as much as they do white conservatives.  I'm sure a number of white liberals will do the usual "what did we do to her to have her hate us like this" kind of rationalizing, but the fact is they, like white conservatives, can do next to nothing to change her mind.
For people like Witt hating white people, ALL white people, is a way for her to keep herself from facing reality.  There is no way to success (or sanity) in hating people as much as she does.  In her cracked mentality she's concocted a world of Evil White People constantly conspiring against innocent, pure black people to keep them down. She is not the only liberal black "intellectual" who thinks like she does. There are many others still blaming Evil Whitey for all the problems of black people.
Now this kind of insanity was supposedly ended with the elections of the first black president, Bill Clinton, and the second, Barack Obama. Yet the hate exhibited by the likes of Witt and many other somewhat black people  is as great as the hate exhibited by the black haters of white people fifty years ago or so.  White liberals have to be asking themselves how could this be so? Decades after the landmark civil rights bill of the sixties and white liberals sucking up to black scoundrels and terrorists, and they, blacks,  still hate All whites with a passion.
Hopefully, many of them have come to the realization that there is a certain pct. of black "intellectuals" for whom nothing can be done. No peace can be made with them...no common cause.

Black people like this author are angry at the world not specifically at White people. They are angry that they were born Black, and White people can never 'fix' that self-hate, no matter how much money or special programs Blacks are given.

Black people can see the gaping difference between Black and White culture, and it drives them crazy. Most Black people would rather live in a culture which is less violent and "more White", so to speak, but they simply cannot manage to do it, and therefore, they hate it.

Black racists do not hate White people because of what they do or have done. Black racists hate White people because they exist. They hate the fact that Whites create a civilized, calm, intellectual, contrast to their primitive, ignorant, and fiercely violent culture. And again, you can't 'fix' that. Only Black people can fix Black problems.

We all know that the prettiest girl in high school was hated by some girls who didn't make the cut. We are seeing this same thing play out with a hatred of White culture by Black racists. Until these people come to peace with who and what they are, and take positive steps to improve their own conditions and communities, they will continue to live in a sad, dark, world of jealousy and hate. But, some people are are more comfortable there. It is always easier to tear down the best than it is to improve yourself enough to match it.

I thought for sure that passage of the CRs bill of the sixties and all the other policies like busing for integration and affirmative action would fix all the problems.
Obviously, they didn't. In fact AA (or Affirmative Discrimination as I like to call it) was probably one of the worst things to happen to black people and by extension the country.  Black people were told they were victims and all their problems were caused by white people. What could go wrong?
Now who among the general non-black population believes that any black person they see in a prominent non-sports or non-entertainment field  deserves to be where they are? I'll bet the great majority believe the black person was an incompetent person placed in a position simply because of their color. Unfortunately, many competent black people are under a cloud because of AA. 
The whole load  of AA, set asides, quotas, etc. needs to be junked. Black people need to know they have to work just as hard and obey all the rules to get ahead just like non-black people. I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to happen.

The whole idea of all those programs was to allegedly right supposed wrongs perpetrated generations ago upon blacks, often by perpetrating wrongs on whites to somehow balance things out. That didn't help anyone, it just made a new 'victim class'.
 
Despite all that supposed prejudice and alleged wrong, a successful black business man I knew drove a new Cadillac, and had a white-faced jockey statue holding the lamp at the apex of his paved drive. While I knew plenty of field hands (and worked alongside them in tobacco fields and baling hay, and even oystering and crabbing) the younger folks had a plan.
If they couldn't score a scholarship to one of the (traditionally) 'black' universities, or even a 'white' one based on academics or athletic prowess, they planned to go into the military, do their hitch, get out and go to school on the GI Bill. I knew white guys in college who did the same.
But between the race riots derailing education for everyone, the incited anger fired up by outside (of the community)  agitators, the expansion of drug culture, and the whole Liberal 'the man is holding you down so there is no point in even trying' meme, attrition was high, and many promising people fell by the wayside.
After that spate of violence had settled down, I worked a couple of summers fitting structural steel while I was in college, and about half the crew there was on work release from a Minimum Security Prison.
Most of the inmates were black, and one who seemed to be the 'boss' of that bunch buttonholed me one day.
He asked me what I was studying in college, and I told him I had been considering law, but decided I liked Geology even better. After explaining what geology is (in my mind there is no such thing as a dumb question, only not knowing because you didn't ask), he tossed out the $64,000 question, sizing me up. He asked "If you were a lawyer when the black man was fighting for his rights, would you have fought for the black man?"
I thought for a second, and flatly said. "No." 
That caught him a little off guard so I explained. "First off, rights aren't rights unless they are for everyone--it doesn't matter what color you are." "Besides", I said, "the black man didn't get any new rights out of that, it just made a bunch of lawyers rich."
His reply? "You're a right-on mother f***er!"
I never had any problems with anyone on the crew.

Witt grew up in Geneva, Switzerland and used to describe herself as "Swiss, Kenyan, Indian and American". These days she leaves the non-ethnic parts of that formula out. She only mentions the Indian-Kenyan part. She neglects however to mention that her father is white.

The daughter of an “upper middle class family” who traveled a lot, Witt “performs whiteness”, which is to say she is white, but resents her half-Indian, half-Kenyan mother for making her “white”.

These days Witt hates “white people” and resents “pieces about black women not written by black women”. Witt herself is about as black as Hannah Black. If not less. Also she claims to have dedicated her “life to dismantling white supremacy”. Her and every Anthropology major out there.

Witt is furious at the publicity that transracial activist Rachel Dolezal is getting. But Witt’s blackness is about as authentic as Rachel’s. Both are striving to perform blackness for its social and economic rewards.  ...

She could be quite attractive if she thinned her eyebrows a bit, put on some weight, and got a decent haircut.  Her forehead is way too big to have those short bangs.  Somebody should take her in hand and soften her up a bit.  Then she might not hate 99% of men and 100% of white people.
