US military is working on a secret project to prevent ISIS from launching autonomous 'suicide drones'
The Mobile Force Protection Program has been launched by DARPA
It is focusing on preventing drones that do not rely on radio frequencies
Phase 1 of the project could begin as soon as May this year

In a bid to stop ISIS from launching 'suicide drones', the US Army is working on a secret project called the Mobile Force Protection Programme.
Overseen by the Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the programme aims to find ways to detect killer drones that do not rely on radio frequencies.
The head of the project says that plans could be put in place as early as May this year.
