A French Muslim is now in custody, after he attempted to drive a car that was full of gas in the liquid form, along with knives and assault rifles, into a crowd at high speed.

The attempted attack in Antwerp, Belgium, took place along a popular shopping street. Pedestrians ran for their lives and jumped out of the way to avoid being hurt.

This happened just hours after the deadly attack in London, England where an Islamic terrorist mowed down pedestrians and cyclists outside the House of Common before being killed by a police officer.

If the perpetrator drove into a crowd with the intent of causing death and bodily harm, it was a terror attack, rather than an attempted terror attack, the absence of death and injuries notwithstanding.  The crimes actually committed may have "attempted" in their legal descriptions, but it was still a terror attack.

A valid point. A "failed terror attack" is still a terror attack.
