It’s time to hold government accountable at all levels
By Bruce McQuain

Lack of accountability, incompetence and just plain stupidity.  The Dept. of Agriculture puts out cyanide bombs near populated areas and neither notifies or warns those in authority or those living there of the cyanide bomb deployments.

“I hurried home, and the first thing I did was try to resuscitate the dog,” Mark Mansfield said. “Unfortunately I exposed myself to cyanide and had no idea.”

It took hours after emergency crews arrived and help from multiple agencies to learn Casey had died from exposure to an M-44.

I sure wish there was a way to do exactly that.

Voters need to do it. But voters would rather vote in their partisan hacks and kleptocrats.

The vote is an excellent way to make sure anything real is seldom accomplished.

Past it rather, but most of these bureaucrats actually making the decision weren't ever up for a vote. Those that are just say it's not their responsibility. Bureaucracy results in group think inspired decisions and everyone gets to dodge responsibility, except for a few chosen scapegoats.
“The way I see it, every time a man gets up in the morning he starts his life over. Sure, the bills are there to pay, and the job is there to do, but you don't have to stay in a pattern. You can always start over, saddle a fresh horse and take another trail.” ― Louis L'Amour

Sad, but true.

It's beginning to approach the time when those of us in the rural parts of the country will seriously consider the "3 Ss" strategy...shoot, shovel, and shutup.
My political philosophy:

1) I'm not bothering anybody.
2) It's none of your business.
3) Leave me alone!
