Sources Say Trump Tower Was Bugged for Two Years

March 22, 2017| by Kim Pines

According to ABC News reports, the FBI had monitored the activities of Russians at Trump Tower from 2011 to 2013. They were watching a Russian crime organization due to a court-sanctioned warrant. The group allegedly had “gambling ring” facilities three floors below the penthouse of the Tower, which was where President Trump lived.

Based on a NY Daily News report, the Feds listened in on Russian activities using wiretaps. This led to the federal indictment of more than 30 people, and a raid on the Trump Tower apartment. Alimzhan Tokhtakhunov was identified by the FBI as the mastermind of the operation. Since then, Tokhtakhunov has fled the country.
