The Dark Cloud over the Trump Presidency

There is an old French adage that applies to the Republicans in Congress and perhaps the Trump Administration: “Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose” (“The more things change, the more they stay the same”).   The appetite for ever greater government spending appears to be no different than in previous years.  This uncontrolled addiction, unless reined, in will cast a dark cloud over entire term of the Trump presidency.

Rather than an outright repeal, the hierarchy of the Congressional leadership has just given birth to an amended version of Obamacare that does not eliminate subsidies but recasts them as tax-credits, continues Medicare subsidies to the States, and forwards to the states a gratuitous $100 billion not included in Obamacare, thus perpetuating and accelerating the level of government spending that would have occurred under Obamacare.  (Beyond the spending in the bill, this legislation is essentially an acknowledgment that the Democrats have won the battle and there will be, sooner rather than later, a single payer government run health care system in the United States.

And like I commented previously.... the Republicans are.... once again and per usual, in the process of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.  Which is, coincidentally, the one thing that they are experts at doing.  Why I officially disowned them during last year's primary (I voted Constitution Party after decades of voting straight Republican).  They already screwed us, the voters, royally in and after 2014 with the excuse that they didn't have a Rep president in the WH.  They're all out of lame excuses now.  The veil is lifted, they are exposed in all of their naked hypocrisy and deceptiveness and it's a VERY ugly sight to behold.

Trump's not perfect, but already defunded planned parenthood international,  has laid out his plans to PP, Trump Pence have already saved the lives of babies.

Now, with this health care bill; it's too bad, that transcripts of the SH show are not online, Ryan spoke about the intricacies involved, some things can not be changed per the rules on the floor of congress.

Trump Pence voters can be proud of what has happened so far.

Never Trumpers have to try to rationalize their views. They aren't in on the action.
