Rate the radio talk show hosts on the Right.

None of them are consistent enough for me.

For me, the best is Dennis Prager. He's thoughtful and honest. He's not perfect, of course. He can be pompous and overly effusive at times, but in my book, he's tops, and a mensch.

This brings up a related question:

Are Rush Limbaugh's best years behind him?

For me, the answer is unfortunately yes.

I had hoped that he would retire when his contract ran out, but I was not surprised that he didn't.

I stopped listening to all of them.

Levin was the last one I decided to turn off.

I have no use for those who talk the Conservative game, and then surrendered it all for expedience or ratings.

Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Don't listen to any of them, sorry.

Used to, from time to time, then decided that if I wanted to be lectured I'd go to class and learn something useful.

Same here. There are a couple I may listen to very occasionally if they have an interesting guest or subject but I don't need any of them helping me make my decisions.

For me, I don't need preach to the choir stuff.

I want to hear, or read, insight. In other words, when someone says or writes something, I want my reaction to be, "Wow. That's a great point. I never thought of that."

I found Levin's rationale compelling.

But, for the record, Beck has remained a non-Trumper.  However he has given Trump some kudos for some of the things he's done.

Same here -  I don't listen to talk radio,  the pundits that I follow are all writers, not talkers.

Although he is a wild and crazy provocateur I like Michael Savage.  I think what most conservative talk show hosts do is performance art, and I have to admit Michael Savage is a guilty pleasure in that regard.  I find myself laughing at his absurdity quite a bit, and not just regarding politics.  Savage can riff on health food, careers, sex, religion, just about any subject of interest.

The most interesting thing to me about Michael Savage is that so many people take him literally.  This is true for Trump as well.  Provocateurs are not interested in the truth so much as they seek to provoke response from audience and critic alike.  Trump and Savage are both masters of the game.

I still kind of like Rush.  I don't listen to him like I used to, but put him on as background sound at work.  Does he have his faults?...of course he does...

I'm at the point where I only listen to Mark Levin on the way home when I don't work out of my home office, so not too often. I appreciate that he isn't shy to call anyone out, he doesn't drink the kool aid and isn't an apologist for any specific person.

I used to listen to Beck a bit on the way into the office but he was replaced by Laura Ingram on the local station so I shut it off.

Beck is the most ADD of hosts. In one segment, he can have a great discussion on the Constitution and Federalist papers, digging deeper than anyone else. Then the next segment, freak out and jump into 'the morning drive' type stuff you would hear on any top 40 station, minus the music.

Up until our local station replaced him, I was appreciating his push back to individualism and caring for neighbors, how to make a difference starting at home first, not expecting the government to do it for you.

She endorsed Obama for President in 2008

In 2012 she lambasted Romney over and over as incompetent and his campaign a calamity.

I take long walks usually in the mid-late afternoon, and listen on Sirius-XM mostly to Patriot channel.

They feature Levin, Hannity, Dave Webb, Wilkow and a few others. I also turn to Fox Business.

There is a moderate fellow named Michael Smerconish that is on XM Potus and on CNN. He can give both sides of issues, some times. I can actually handle that.

And now we know why Jazzy self-identifies as Conservative.

I think we need a new term like trans-politico to categorize those who are actual Leftists but want to dress in Reaganesque clothing and use the Conservative bathroom.

I honestly don't listen to conservative talk very much anymore. I did about 10 years ago.

I liked Dennis Miller's show when he had it. Rush was always easy to listen to; he has the right timbre of voice for talk radio. The opposite is true for pretty much anyone on Salem; for some odd reason that network either aggravates me or puts me to sleep. (There's a local AM station that used to play the golden oldies and standards. I was so PO'ed when they flipped to Salem that I took it off my car presets. Blech.) I always preferred Levin (despite his unusual voice) over Savage, who always came off as a nut. Laura Ingraham came off as shallow and partisan, and from what I read about her, she still does. Back in the day, Beck had that irreverence to him that he seems to have lost.

@Machiavelli

I agree with you that Rush's best days are  behind him.  I find him stale and boring.

The only talker I listen to is Dana Loesch, and the main reason for that is her humor.  I don't need anyone to tell me how to think or what opinions to have, so her political talk is just background noise that happens to agree with my own views.  Loesch is often hysterical, and I really enjoy that.  I also like her tough-chick attitude and her merciless mockery.
