Democrats since Reagan have become super-politicized.
Republicans (or non-democrats) while becoming more sensitized to politics than has historically been the case, are still capable of looking at the world without a lens warped by hyper partisanship.
From today forward I do not think a republican will ever get higher than 55 or so percent approval. As time goes on neither will a democrat.
