ABC News chief political analyst Matthew Dowd argued that President Trump is undermining the Constitution by not calling on mainstream news outlets.

During Wednesday’s press conference, Trump limited questions to two non-mainstream media outlets: the Christian Broadcasting Network and Townhall.

Dowd argued that Trump is “shutting down part of the First Amendment by not taking questions that are going to be any way antagonistic in this.”

“I think he thinks relying on his Twitter feed, and sending it out to the millions of people that subscribe to it, and then dealing with very cozy press in this is going to be the way to get through this,” Dowd said.

Perhaps if they weren't so blatantly, transparently biased against anything that contradicts the leftist "narrative" they might have more success in being called on.  :laugh:

Since he's not interfering in any way with the tripe they write ... how is it interfering with the constitution? Guess my version is missing the codicil giving the press unlimited rights.  :shrug:

You just can't make this crap up (ie truth is stranger than fiction these days).  The lamestream media suddenly (convenient timing) pretends to care about the US Constitution by whining that Trump isn't calling on or enabling the lamestream media to spread more lies and ask more inane, gotcha questions.  Meanwhile.... they're not bright enough to figure out that their whining is music to Trump's ears.   :whistle:
