How Can House Democrats’ Muslim IT Scandal Not be News?

Imagine the following: A small group of white supremacist computer geeks were discovered to be stealing government property from dozens of Republican congressional offices for whom they provided information technology services. They are also suspected of stealing legislators’ emails and other House communications – possibly including traffic involving the most sensitive national security-related committees on which some of their employers served.

Think this story would be basically ignored by the mainstream media?

Well, that is exactly what is happening to an actual scandal with all these features – only the congressmen are all Democrats and the IT contractors are all Muslims, originally from Pakistan.

An observer would see 3 dozen views and not one reply showing any interest, to boot!

Mind-boggling.

Oh, I'm interested. Very interested.

Just nothing new here. Nor will there be for a couple of months, until the forensics boys do their magic.

Do they immediately present orders that no existing records, paper/electronic/circuit/cloud account can be modified, files deleted?

Perhaps if they had framed it as an international security issue (Pakistani IT scandal) instead of religion-baiting, it wouldn't be written off as being by some nutcase.

...thinking about the phone logs, text logs of all the people who were in the 3 brothers' phones and computers...how many Congressmen and Senators, etc., had them on their payroll?

I understand that it would be the only way these boys could have earned their annual incomes...was if multiple people were paying to be in the club and on their "mailing list".

It's an area I'm only tangentially familiar with, so bear that in mind. Far as I know, yes. They also at the very least mirror drives, if not pull the physical drives (when available) altogether for deep analysis.

It does take time though.

Yes, and who is doing the framing?

Mind-boggling.

Why?  Does bloviating in a reply mean you're more concerned than if you read it, then think about it and decide what to do?  Or that your response is better?

Pakistani Muslims snooping through Dems' computers?  Obviously, they were looking for bestiality porn (a known fetish of Pakistani Muslims).  That's why they hit Dems.  (Pubbies would have had only child porn.)

Having answered all of the questions, above, there's really not much to see here.  (Just sayin.')

Yeah! But given recent history they don't mean much!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

We talked about it two weeks ago

And my comment then was:

I'm wondering if people just don't get the import of this story or just don't give a rat's a$$!

Not at all.

This should be huge news right now.  And nobody is spending any time on it.

And that IF they were contract/paid by Republicans, you'd know what I mean.

Were they contract or did they have GS numbers is a KEY question here and I don't know the answer.

And we should know that by now.   Just because it involved the Senate Intelligence Committe members, they get all secretive.
