Liberals blame Adele’s Grammy sweep on white supremacy

On Sunday night’s 59th annual Grammy awards, British singer-songwriter Adele took home the top honors. The songstress won all five awards she was nominated for including Record and Song of the Year for “Hello,” and Album of the Year for 25.

However, the biggest takeaway was that Adele upset Beyoncé for her hit song “Formation” and album Lemonade. While Adele was thrilled for being the first artist to sweep the top honors twice, many of Beyoncé’s fans blamed white supremacy for her victory.

Having been shut out of the BET awards several years running, Adel was apparently beside herself with grief and unavailable for comment.

Talent beats hype, every time. When your posse constantly acts like you're a queen, you're being driven by hype. It backfires, as we saw tonight.

The only semi-modern "artist" I  occasionally buy records from is Enya. I've actually never heard one recording from Beyonce or Adele. They might have accidentally recorded something worth listening to, but I just don't care.  In general, for me popular music died about 25 years ago.  By that I mean musicians making good music. Maybe there's one out there somewhere making music I like, but I believe you can't go home again. For me most modern popular music is crap. Yes, I'm old and in the way.  :tongue2:
