After nearly three decades in L.A. County, Nestlé will soon move its headquarters from California to Virginia.  This food services giant with an estimated $235 billion in assets worldwide will by the end of 2018 remove 1,200 jobs from a state that relies heavily on income taxes to fund its massive public sector.

I saw the headline and thought is was about an area in Nevada.  :whistle:

Many major corporations have moved their Hq. staff (usually a few hundred employees) out of the state.

A significant factor is Unitary Taxation, by the state. It wants to collect high state income taxes, on worldwide revenues.

We have a tax attorney member, if he chooses to further explain.
