At Least Five Injured in Palestinian Terrorist Attack in Petah Tikva

At least five people were wounded when a Palestinian man opened fire at a bus and stabbed another man at the marketplace in the central Israeli city of Petah Tikva on Thursday afternoon.
The assailant began his attack a little before 5:00 p.m. near the busy Petah Tikva market, where people were shopping ahead of Shabbat. He opened fire on a bus by Baron Hirsch Street, shooting a 50-year-old man in the leg, the Times of Israel reported. Two women — one in her 50s, the other in her 30s — were also injured by shrapnel.
