ALBANY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV/WROC-TV) - On Monday, the New York State Assembly passed the DREAM Act, which treats undocumented foreign-born students as New York Citizens, even if they were brought here as infants.

The Assembly also passed a new Liberty Act, which would provide immigrants with a number of sanctuary style protections.

Fine!
More money the federal government can save by cutting off New York State!

Use it to pay for the wall construction!

Am wondering how this will all wind up when some states refuse to recognize as legitimate another state's "Green Papers" or whatever they wish to call them.

The Constitution says one state must go along with recognizing as legitimate the citizens of another state, but what about a non-citizen?

You answered your own question. A state cannot confer legal status on a foreign national. They can only choose not to cooperate in their apprehension. This thing the crooks in Albany did was a farce.

Almost sounds like there will have to be checkpoints at the borders with NY to ensure undesirables deemed 'desirable' by NY are not going somewhere else
