De Blasio: Drunk driving by illegal alien could be 'a very minor offense'

How far will the mayor of a sanctuary city like New York go to shield illegal aliens from deportation who break the law?

If the offense is "minor," the illegal should be protected from the feds, says New York mayor Bill de Blasio.  That includes grand larceny and drunk driving.

He had better call someone in Canada to find out why it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for someone who gets busted for DUI in the U.S. to get in to Canada.  I guess they don't minimize it for political reasons. :whistle:

I dare you to say that to my friends widow.  He was killed by a drunk driver who happened to be in the country illegally
