I'm going to the Astros - Phillies game tonight, hoping against hope that Aaron Nola can slow down the seemingly unstoppable train that is the 'Stros.  What an amazing group of hitters.

Dodgers-Twins game delayed nearly 20 minutes after double switch goes wrong

I was channel switching last night and caught part of this delay. I wondered what the hell was going on.

Had lots of phun last night.  Perfect weather,  Nola twirled six shutout frames with ten punchouts,  and the Fightins erupted for three homers and nine runs.  A 9-0 buttkicking of the best team in baseball!   

The Phils left seven men in scoring position before plating their first run;  four balls were sent to the warning track so I knew they had their hitting shoes on.   Then came the deluge,  with Joseph,  Franco and Rupp (two homers!) supplying the power.

Felt like old times!   This was my thirteenth Phils game of the year, and only the second victory.

Next up is your Bravos, @Polly Ticks .

IMO, the Atlanta Braves are the TRUE surprise team in the NL....other than those scary Astros, and ridiculous Dodgers.   :beer:

In the NATIONALS half of the 3rd inning, they made history, as they hit FOUR HRS back-to-back!

Goodwin, Difo, Harper and Zimmerman.  BEFORE the Brewers created an out!

On top of that, after Murphy made an out, Rendon went yard for #5 in the inning, making it 8-0
