States submit transportation project requests to Trump
By Melanie Zanona - 01/23/17 05:41 PM EST

States have submitted over 300 transportation projects to be considered by President Trump as he puts together a massive infrastructure bill.

The National Governors Association, which was asked by the transition team in early December to start collecting the requests, says a total of 43 have states and territories have weighed in so far. More states are expected to send in their infrastructure requests, which were first reported by Bloomberg on Monday.

More money need to be kept in each state and less needs to go the Federal Government.  Then each state could decide what projects they can afford to fund.  One state shouldn't be paying for another states road project.  The Federal Goverment should only worry about the Federal Highway system.
