On Saturday Secretary of Defense James ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis oversaw 31 airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

(WASHINGTON, DC) Newly minted Secretary of Defense James Mattis celebrated his first full day at the Pentagon by overseeing 31 strikes against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Mattis entered the Pentagon Saturday with a smile for his first full day of work, and for good reason, considering the significant bombardment ISIS forces received.

ISIS is seriously debilitated in Iraq; but as long as they can cross over from Syria or even Turkey, this problem will remain; but I'm sure there is a lot we can do to annihilate it.

Strikes are usually worked out hours (or days) in advance, so the Secretary basically lucked out today.

Nice bit of serendipity though.
