Half a million women marching for hypocrisy
By Ethel C. Fenig

Saturday, in a massive event of group think across the USA and in other areas scattered around the world, several million females, (and a few males for diversity's sake) some wearing  pink hats with little cat's ears (calling thjem pink bleep hats), immersed themselves in a warm, feel good, lady like, mental bath.

As a result, they also revealed their weakness and helplessness and their inability to deal with it. Dissent at this event was not allowed; the anti abortion, pro life, New Wave feminist organization was barred from participating because they were anti abortion and it is decreed from the monoliths of the "movement" that this diverse, pluralistic and multi cultural attitude is not allowed.

Exactly.  I've seriously pondered that question also.  The answer-jar is empty.

They're protesting what they speculate might happen despite an utter lack of evidence to support their fears.

There were signs demanding free abortions, because,  um, Trump and Pence.

So far as I can see, they're marching for spite, since their worldview has been comprehensively rejected (gradually) over the past 8 years.
My political philosophy:

1) I'm not bothering anybody.
2) It's none of your business.
3) Leave me alone!

I would bet that 90+% of them thought it was in the bag for Hillary. Barbra Streisand was quoted gloating about the polls three months before the election showing Hillary with a supposedly insurmountable lead. Time to for Hillary to order the interiors for the WH and plan for the inevitable coronation of Her Royal Heinous-Queen Hillary.
Heck, the day before the election many experts thought it was over.
So it was a huge shock to them when Hillary's early lead evaporated. Most everybody remembers the scene in the NYC "victory" ballroom where Hillary was going to get pre-coronated by the faithful after her crushing defeat of His Orangeness.
And then she lost.
And they were all dumbstruck.
These marches are the vengeful reactions of those shocked and dismayed Hillaryites to their hero's loss. They still can't believe it....it must have been a trick.  Sure, that's it....an evil trick by the evil Republicans to deny their heroine her rightful place in history as the first female president. And the continued destruction of the evil Patriarchy and the elevation of leftist females to ultimate positions of power ruling (ruining) what was left of the U.S.
They just couldn't take losing. Now they're acting out.  Hopefully, they'll go home and hold their breaths for the rest of Trump's term(s).

And as for the conservative women who did go,  they'll realize in time that they got duped.

Perhaps they're marching because they're peeved that their hotels didn't give them refunds on the rooms they reserved for Hillary's inauguration.

Here's one news editor's view of the violent protesters Friday (and, I suspect, at least some of the wymyn Saturday):
Quote
Throwing Tantrums Over Trump
Jan 22, 2017
Mike Myer

If you are someone who hates and fears President Donald Trump — and there are lots of people like you — I wonder if you did the smart thing on Friday.

Or did you hop in your car and head to Washington to join the demonstrators?

Within a couple of hours of Trump’s inauguration as president, police in Washington, D.C., were battling well over 1,000 violent protesters, according to The Associated Press. The anti-Trump thugs were throwing chunks of concrete at the cops, smashing windows, blocking streets and setting fires.

That’ll show Trump!

No, it won’t. What it will do is make him lots of new friends. They will be folks who may have been on the fence about him, uncertain whether to trust him. Some of them may even have voted for Hillary Clinton.

Most Americans, regardless of their feelings about Trump, have no problem acknowledging he is our new president. That’s how we do things in this country. We agree to disagree at the polls, then we move on.

But something akin to hysteria has gripped a few people. To them, it is almost as if the election of Donald Trump is the end of all that is good and kind in our world.

It is not, of course. It is merely a change — far from the most dramatic our nation has seen — in the presidency, which is but one of three branches of government.

A tiny minority of those caught up in the hysteria has decided violent protest is appropriate.

They do an enormous disservice to more thoughtful opponents of the president, who are ready to do battle in the halls of Congress, before federal court judges, and in the court of public opinion.

Good for them. Again, that’s how we do things in the United States of America.

Their cause now is linked to the violence protesters, and that loses friends for the anti-Trump forces.

Is that right? No. Thinking less of Trump’s reasonable foes because of the thugs isn’t right. Why, it’s as bad as equating conservatives with, oh, racists.

But it happens.

Many liberals have gone out of their way to employ childish stunts to demonstrate their dislike for Trump. Members of Congress who refused to attend his inauguration fall into that category. Notice, by the way, that no Democrat U.S. senators joined that protest. Perhaps there is something to the old description of the Senate as the more thoughtful legislative body.

But the bottom line is that when adults throw temper tantrums, their emotionally and intellectually mature peers view them as, well, spoiled brats.

Being regarded as such is no way to get what you want.
