It just occurred to me that Trump has gotten more fat women walking in one day than Michelle Obama did in eight years. - from a comment found on FB... I think it wins the internet for the day.

I must admit I've had a troublesome mind's image today, every time I saw the headline of this article.  "Massive Women's March...".  I couldn't shake the image of a hundred massive Rosie Whatzernames marching down the street wearing thong bikinis.

This protest was about nothing.  DT has been prez for fewer than 48 hours.  Whose rights has he denied?

Or has threatened to deny. Gillibrand yammered about women's rights and civil rights and no one has challenged her to be specific.

Hyper-liberal women, aren't going to give money away.  They'll take pictures, do long rambling, boring blog pages, march on some government building or other...but actually give their own money?

I got caught up in this crap today trying to get to the Holocaust Museum.  Barely made my flight out.  I don't know what these women were trying to protest, but they did a magnificent job of trashing the Mall with litter.

I did not encounter any rude protesters.  Everyone was polite as I navigated my family perpendicularly across their march path.  This happened more than once since their seemed to be no order to what they were doing.  As far as I can tell, they didn't want to end, so they just kept marching, picking new paths.  Most of the men I saw (and there were a lot of them) were younger, and clearly there to support whatever young women they happened to be having relations with at the time.

I picked up a conversation with a few younger at the airport.  Nothing overtly political.  They just flew in to be a part of something without being able to articulate what that 'something' was.

Would liked to have had another four hours at the museum, but the crowds at the Metro stops made that impossible.

I copy and past this here because I think it FAR more reflective of the opinions of the majority of women in this country than anything we have seen in the streets of Washington lately.
 
It comes from the post of a much younger than myself woman friend who I met many years ago while she was still in high school! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did!

I think we live in one of the greatest places on earth! I feel loved, honored, and respected as a woman here in the United States. The only one who can stop me from being happy and successful in life is ME. The good Lord made MAN and WOMAN. I don't feel a need to compete with men nor do I consider myself better or worse than men. (Or women either.) I know my worth as a child of God, and I don't need to shout it from the roof tops. Personally, I am embarrassed by the marches today and think they were more anti- President Trump rallies than anything else. Talk about shutting down the lines of communication. Do people really believe acting in a contentious manner will get anyone to listen to them? That makes me turn away EVERY TIME.
* My advice to the Marchers (and all the rest of us): 1. If you want to be noticed for more than your looks, get out and make something of yourself. 2. Put energy into helping women in countries where women really ARE undervalued and treated horribly. 3. Draw attention to domestic violence here in America and helping women, men, and children who are being abused. 4. Speak out against violence and abuse of ANY kind. 5. Reach out and help everyone you can, anytime you can with love and a smile. 6. Donate your time and money (if possible) every chance you get to help increase world literacy and education rates and decrease poverty. 7. Be the change you want to see by treating everyone with love and respect.
** These are just a few of many ways we can all make a profound difference in the world.

The frightening, horrific fact is:  The mediuh, the political party leaders, BOTH sides...and the government itself, FAVORS these destructive animals over disciplined, responsible citizens.  I know why...Cloward-Piven, that is, instigated nihilism and destruction as a means to an end...is now accepted objective.

They hope it's their Big Chance.  I posit that it's a recipe for national suicide and enslavement.
