AHA Council rejects Petition to investigate Israel, same day boycott rejected at Modern Language Association.
Yesterday the attempt to boycott Israeli academic institutions was rejected at the Modern Language Association, Massive DEFEAT for BDS at Modern Language Association.
The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions academic boycott movement suffered a second defeat, this time at the American Historical Association. In 2016, the AHA rejected an academic BDS resolution, as we reported at the time, Stunning defeat for BDS at American Historical Association.
But true to form, the BDS faculty don’t give up, they try to change tactics to keep putting Israel on trial. But the AHA again rejected such an attempt, as reported at the History News Network, AHA Council votes not to take action on petition requesting an investigation into violations of academic freedom in Israel and the West Bank:
